Launched in 2022, New York State's NY Forward program builds on the success of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) program. NY Forward focuses on invigorating and revitalizing downtowns in smaller and rural communities—villages, hamlets, and other small, neighborhood-scale municipal centers. As a NY Forward awardee selected by the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council, Livingston Manor in the Town of Rockland will undertake an approximately nine-month community-based planning process that will result in the identification of a slate of complementary and transformative projects that will help revitalize the downtown.
